CROSSING THE BORDER FOR FIL-AM WALKING THE RUNWAY AT BUFFALO FASHION 2016

Fil-Am model ANA ELIZA S. GELI
The invitation to attend the Buffalo Fashion Show 2016 has been floating in the air for  many months since the event flyer was out. I tend to ignore it until this week when that thing called "It's meant to be..." really knocked me off. I had to go because one of its models will be walking the runway at Buffalo Fashion Show and she meant a lot to us.

There are people that despite that fleeting moment of friendship, they build lasting impressions and Ana and her mom are one of those people.

This is her first big fashion walk since becoming a model. This young Fil-American had a whirlwind connection with me as she and her mom came for a visit with my high school mate some years back. Despite being a little too young then, she already displayed that sense of independence not withstanding her very well-mannered nature.

Ana Eliza S. Geli is currently studying Fashion & Design at Buffalo State and is a consistent honor student since her kindergarten years. She is from Seyracuse, New York. I am adamant at crossing the border having kind of bad experience the last time I went there with my roommate when I gave Appleby as my destination. I was asked three times where I was going. My answer remained the same, Appleby until the officer directed us to park the car and confiscate the keys. "There is no Appleby in here", barked the bulky guy. Well, that was what was given to me and tried browsing those text when I heard, "Ma'am, you've got fancy phone but that is not allowed here." Oh...will it be worst when the man wins?

This young model kept asking her mom if we are coming and this young lady deserve our support. To hell with the trauma at the border. We are coming for Ana. The VIP ticket has been reserved for me and my roommate.

Ana has been modelling the collections of Edgar Madamba, Edgar San Diego, Richard Papa, Mao of Beijing Collections and has been modelling twice in Buffalo but this one coming in October is her big one. I can't wait to finally capture this young lady on the runway. I think she will be excited to know that we are crossing the border for her. Her address is clearly noted for the bulky guys at the border.
