It takes a lot of guts to tell your story to the world. Especially when it involved those moments that torn your spirit, your name, your reputation and your being.
Olivia's story which was written by Analyn Aryo, bring to life in an online tv drama, Mangarap Ka and was shown in three episodes that ended last Friday, September 15, 2017, exposes what some women endured in their lifetime; domestic violence. It also involves legal dilemma in massive proportion.
All of us who left home to venture to unknown places looked forward to a bright future. But not everyone finds light on their dreams. Our pursuit for betterment sometimes made us vulnerable. In our fear of being alone we cling on people who pretends to love us. In the end, they are the biggest lie and the biggest adversary.

What did we learn after watching Mangarap Ka's three episodes? Experts were brought in to dissect the issues surrounding Olivia's story so we learn from it. Many among us are facing tremendous hurdles that are beyond our grasp and beyond our comprehension. Experts deliberate the issue based on their knowledge and experience.
Olivia has left this difficult past behind her but not her burning spirit to help other women who are Mangarap Ka has given them the tools to face a difficult situation like this.

Because this is the only avenue for migrant workers to find solace, direction and professional guidance as experts after experts are brought in at every episode for accurate and proper deliberation and it makes Mangarap Ka online tv drama unique.

For one, the producers are building a platform for our local talented individuals to play a role in this film. It promotes talented people and encourages them to take part on meaningful projects like this one. The production team are working hard to stitch the story so every frame on it reflects every fabric of the story. Mangarap Ka is a vehicle to mentor actors and actresses who haven't been given an opportunity to become one. It is a tool of empowerment and advocacy.
