Meet Analyn Aryo of Mangarap Ka Films

ANALYN ARYO

Analyn Aryo hides her enormous talents by being nowhere. You hardly know where she is and I guess as a writer, author, scriptwriter, playwright and production director, being away from the limelight is more deserving to someone who puts life to stories we will soon see on screen through "Mangarap Ka" episodes.

Analyn Aryo is Pinoy Dreams International Scriptwriter. She is also the author of a book, , “NANNY TALES: VOICES FROM the DIARY OF AN OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKER (OFW), JANUARY 2009,  BENGUET, PHILIPPINES. A collection of stories, vignettes and poems on the experiences and challenges of working as a domestic helper in Hong Kong.

Analyn's skills includes creative writing, content development and hosting. Analyn develop and write episode scripts for Mangarap Ka (Dream!), an on-line docu-drama highlighting the various experiences, struggles, and challenges of live-in caregivers and temporary workers in Canada particularly on issues about immigration, assimilation and adaptation.  She also developed content and write radio scripts for PinoyDreams – an on-line program that aims to empower live-in caregivers and temporary workers in Canada by providing and discussing relevant information.

As PLAYWRIGHT of  “The Migrant Collective” -  “The Migrant Collective” is a collection of multimedia performances of vignettes, songs, and dance- performed by Filipino women who worked as Domestic Helpers in Hong Kong. Directed by Sarabeth Bearman, a Luce Scholar.

I've known her briefly yet I found Analyn so unassuming and truly humble. I think brilliant writer's are introvert and loves obscurity. But the truth is, she writes the script of what is to be the icebreaker of our first Filipino-Canadian real life stories through "Mangarap Ka" and it takes a gifted writer to be able to stitch someone's story and bring it alive on screen.

ANALYN ARYO....one of the gems in our community at large. You won't see her often but only on rare occasions.  But I assure you, she will probably grace the premier showing of "Forced To Let Go" and "Devotion" Films this coming March 3, 2018.

This one you shouldn't miss and be able to shake the hands of a reclusive writer.
